Harborough (UK Parliament constituency)
Harborough or is a constituency covering the south of Leicestershire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1992 by Conservative Party member and barrister Sir Edward Garnier QC.
==Current representative==
Sir Edward Garnier QC was Shadow Attorney General England and Wales, scrutinizing decisions of the head of the UK government's highest legal office and "earned wide acclaim for a thoughtful performance in that role, in which he demonstrated his legal expertise without becomingly excessively partisan" from 1997 until 2001. From 2007 until 8 September 2009 he was Shadow Minister for Prisons after which he once again became Shadow Attorney General. He served for two years from 2010 until a reshuffle on 4 September 2012 as Solicitor General which is a slightly lower position than Attorney-General, delegated specific advice responsibilities, without litigation responsibilities.
